Firstly we wish you a happy and healthy new year 2012! As we wrote in our last blog entry we want to present a detailed article about the non-profit organisation "Mother Teresa of Calcutta". In Christmas time 2011 I-H&S abstained from buying expensive presents. Instead, our management decided to donate the saved money to the Indian charity organisation.

Our employee Jürgen Schnitzer, who is responsible for the sales of used TRUMPF machines in India, and his wife Ruth brought Mother Teresa of Calcutta Center (MTC) to our attention. The Schnitzer family supports the aid organisation for many years.

Inspired by the social commitment of Jürgen Schnitzer our general manager Lothar Schad and our managing director Kewin Schad decided to financially support Mother Teresa of Calcutta Center. During the last three years I-H&S donated a large amount to the Indian non-profit organisation and abstained from expensive Christmas presents for customers, suppliers and staff. This money inures to people who are in the urgent need of help.

Due to the private and exemplary commitment of Jürgen Schnitzer we know that the sponsored money will be actually used for the immediate social needs of the organisation in Calcutta. Our vision is that single mothers and their children are getting help and a decent opportunity for a liveable future.
